It was originally teased that Tyron Woodley would defend his welterweight title against Colby Covington at the upcoming UFC 230 PPV on Nov. 3, but the reigning champion is injured and will have to sit out for 8-12 weeks.
‘T-Wood’ dislocated his thumb earlier this month in his title defense against Darren Till, and UFC ‘bad guy’ Covington wasted no time in grilling the American Top Team fighter on social media.
Covington sent out a Tweet on Saturday calling Woodley a ‘brittle b-tch’, claiming that the current champ should be stripped of his ‘#1 contender spot.
