Colby Covington: If it wasn’t for ‘Tyquil Woodley’ ducking me, I’d already have a belt around my waist

Welterweight contender Colby Covington has been actively campaigning for a title shot against champion Tyron Woodley. It is apparently the only fight that he sees fit for him next.

In a recent interview with Submission Radio, Covington looked back on his achievements for 2017 and believes he would have easily ended the year as the UFC’s 170-pound champion.

“If it wasn’t for the fake champ Tyquil ducking me I’d already have a belt wrapped around my waist, but he’s too scared and he’s out here in Hollywood gossiping about the Kardashians, he’s not ready to come back and defend the welterweight title,” Covington said.
