Woodley, the reigning welterweight champion, made mincemeat of Darren Till in the main event and finished ‘The Gorilla’ with a D’Arce choke in the second round, earning his first stoppage win inside the Octagon since 2016.
Covington, who was originally expected to challenge Woodley for the title earlier this year, called out the defending champ to a fight at UFC 230 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Covington also took a pop at Darren ‘doughboy’ Till, ridiculing the 25-year-old for failing to rise to the occasion and live up the hype.
