While the Ultimate Fighting Championship seems to be considering having Kamaru Usman jump the line to a welterweight title shot, Tyron Woodley and Colby Covington remain fixated on each other.
With Usman’s dominant victory over former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos last week, UFC President Dana White has suggested the promotion may reward him with a title shot against Woodley despite former interim champ Covington -- who also dominated Dos Anjos in his last fight -- waiting in the wings.
However, it seems Woodley is favoring a fight against “Chaos,” judging by his comments over the weekend, and if they did meet in the future he has no intention of wrestling him suggesting he would rather stand and bang.
