Duke Roufus, who serves as the former pro wrestling star’s head coach at Roufusport in Milwaukee, revealed in an Instagram post Saturday that Punk is back in training camp — or, as he calls it, “#PunkCamp.”
“Working hard & getting better every day,” Roufus wrote. “Working on his next Fight.”
At this time, it’s not clear how close Punk’s next fight is to finalized. Since his MMA debut last year, Punk has hinted several times at a sophomore appearance in the cage, as has Roufus.
Punk made his MMA and UFC debut at UFC 203 in September 2016 against fellow promotional newcomer Mickey Gall, whom UFC president Dana White scouted on Dana White: Lookin’ for a Fight.
