CM Punk has not fared well since giving up pro wrestling for mixed martial arts. The UFC took a shot on him based on his drawing power in WWE, and while he did likely make the organization some PPV money based on the curiosity factor, his performances in the cage were not exactly pretty. A total one-sided submission loss to Mickey Gall and an ugly decision loss to Mike Jackson have sent his MMA stock down to pretty much nothing.
Yet, according to Punk, he is still signed to the UFC.
In a wide-ranging interview with Marc Raimondi of MMA Fighting, Punk (real name Phil Brooks) discusses his opportunity to do commentating with MMA promotion CFFC, his possible future in MMA and pro wrestling, and a lot more.
