Several fighters—including some winners—are facing lengthy medical suspensions following UFC 190, held Saturday in Rio de Janeiro.
Brazil's athletic commission overseeing MMA, CABMMA, released the full list of suspensions Monday, according to a report from MMA Junkie.
In the pay-per-view opener, Claudia Gadelha defeated the debuting Jessica Aguilar in a bout that probably determined the next title challenger in the UFC women's strawweight division. Gadelha defeated Aguilar by decision, but both suffered injury setbacks as a result of the bout; each faces a 180-day suspension (Gadelha for her hand, Aguilar for her nose) unless she is medical cleared beforehand.
