It’s movie night once again at Bloody Elbow. Zane and John are back to share another of their all-time favorite combat sports films for your consideration. This time around it’s the classic underground-fighting film Hard Times.
The directorial debut of classic action filmmaker Walter Hill, 1975’s Hard Times focuses on depression era bare-knuckle boxing in New Orleans, LA. There, Charles Bronson works his way from relative unknown, to street-fight sensation. Not only a fantastic boxing movie, but arguable the greatest MMA movie of all time.
