Chuck Liddell predictably lost by KO to Tito Ortiz at Golden Boy’s inaugural MMA show. The UFC hall-of-famer came back from almost a decade of being retired, only to notch his fourth straight brutal knockout loss.
The CSAC initially defended allowing the 48-year-old to return to competition, saying that he passed the medicals, and that they were “surprised” at the result as they didn’t think it was a mismatch.
On Wednesday, the CSAC announced that they have medically suspended Liddell indefinitely.
“The Iceman” will also receive a minimum suspension of 45 days no contest, and 30 days no contact due to the knockout.
