TKO Major League MMA, the Canadian mixed martial arts promotion that once served as a staging ground for fighters like two-time Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight titleholder Georges St. Pierre, will rise from the ashes of an eight-year absence in November.
Former International Fight League cornerstone Chris Horodecki and Derek Gauthier are expected to lock horns in the TKO 36 “Resurrection” headliner on Nov. 4 at Tohu in Montreal. TKO has not promoted an event since October 2008.
Horodecki has not fought since June 2015, when he submitted to a neck crank from four-time NCAA All-American Lance Palmer under the World Series of Fighting banner.
