A heavyweight showdown pitting Cheick Kongo against Alexander Volkov will headline Bellator 139 on June 26.
Sherdog.com confirmed the pairing with a Bellator official following an initial report from MMAFighting.com. Bellator 139 takes place at Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kan., and also includes a featherweight scrap between Pat Curran and Goiti Yamauchi.
Kongo joined the Bellator roster in 2013 following an 18-bout stint with the UFC. The 39-year-old Frenchman is 4-2 with the promotion overall, including a split-decision loss to Muhammed Lawal in his most recent outing at Bellator 134.
