Welterweight champion Ross Houston has been released by Cage Warriors and has subsequently vacated his Cage Warriors title.
MMA Fighting confirmed the news with Houston’s management company, Black Panther Sports, on Tuesday. According to statement made by the CEO of Black Panther Sports, Kedu Uchegbu, Cage Warriors parted ways with the Scottish fighter in “amicable” fashion. Although solicitors were involved, both parties have signed non-disclosure agreements, which will not allow them to disclose specific details of the release.
Uchegbu also revealed that the former Cage Warriors welterweight champion is currently in negotiations with three different organizations.
