Former UFC star Chael Sonnen says Anderson Silva 'insulted everyone's intelligence' with his recent hearing at the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
Anderson Silva's hearing with the Nevada State Athletic Commission on August 13th was certainly a low point in the Brazilian's career. The former middleweight champion pleaded his case for hours before being hit with with a $380,000 fine and a 12 month suspension (retroactive January 31st) after testing positive for steroids at UFC 183. His win over Nick Diaz was also overturned to a no contest.
Since the failed drug tests were revealed in February, 'The Spider' had pleaded innocent and denied any use of performance-enhancing drugs.
