Chad Mendes wins comeback fight via first-round TKO at UFC Boise

The three-time featherweight title challenger needed less than three minutes to put away Myles Jury at UFC Boise and earn his first win since April 4, 2015, a span of more than three years. Mendes was suspended for two years back in July 2016 by the United States Anti-Doping Agency after testing positive for banned substances.

It didn’t look like Mendes missed a beat as he rocked Jury with a left hand off of a feint before finishing with a flurry of unanswered strikes on the ground:

The win snapped a two-fight skid for Mendes dating back to that Fight Night in 2015, where he also put away Ricardo Lamas with strikes.
