With Said Nurmagomedov out of the card due to undisclosed reasons, the promotion signed Peruvian bantamweight Carlos Huachin to fight Barcelos in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. MMA Fighting confirmed the news following a report by El Comercio.
Huachin (10-3-2) fought for the last time on March 29, stopping Marcelino Cavalcante in the first round to capture the Inka FC bantamweight title. The Peruvian talent makes his first walk to the Octagon riding a seven-fight unbeaten streak that includes six finishes and one draw.
Barcelos (13-1) made his UFC debut as a featherweight in July 2018, knocking out Kurt Holobaugh in the third round and pocketing extra $50,000 for the best fight of the night in Boise.
