In the co-main event of the Canelo Alvarez vs. Gennady Golovkin pay-per-view undercard, rising Mexican star Jaime Munguia (31-0, 26 KOs) made quick work of Canada’s Brandon Cook (20-2, 13 KOs), knocking him down in the third round and finishing things off shortly thereafter.
Munguia has emerged as one of the top talents to watch in 2018, and in his fifth fight of the year, he gave fans at T-Mobile Arena another great show. His combination punching was lethal, particularly his left hook to the liver, and even though Cook was able to catch him on a few occasions, Munguia was way too powerful, strong, and skilled.
