In 2016, Steven Skinner, 45, was arrested on Margarita Island off the coast of Nueva Esparta, Venezuela. Local cops apprehended Skinner on the advice of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Skinner, who is from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, had been charged with second-degree murder in Canada back in 2011.
At the time of his arrest CityNews reported that police believed Skinner shot and killed Stacey Jordan Adams in the Lake Echo community outside of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Prior to that, according to the CBC, Skinner allegedly tortured a 66-year-old man.
