Cristiane ‘Cyborg’ Justino is no longer dropping to 140 pounds for her next fight. Shannon Knapp, President of Invicta FC told Inside MMA on Friday that Justino’s next fight will be at 145 pounds and she will defend her Featherweight Championship against Cindy Dandois at Invicta FC 15 on Jan. 16. “This will be the first time that she has competed without hydrating herself with an IV, so she’s made the decision to go ahead and defend her belt.” said Knapp.
One would have to assume this also has something to do with Holly Holm knocking out Ronda Rousey and becoming the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion.
