Till edged two-time welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson in the UFC Fight Night 130 headliner in Liverpool, England, on Sunday, taking a narrow unanimous decision punctuated by a knockdown in the final stanza. The scorecards figure to be a topic for debate in the days to come, but Till has moved into a new category of 170-pound contenders regardless. However, Till’s victory was also marred by his badly missing weight one day prior.
