The perpetually underrated welterweight champion retained his belt with a second-round submission of Darren Till in the UFC 228 headliner at American Airlines Center in Dallas on Saturday night. Woodley’s brabo choke at the 4:19 mark of round two was his first submission triumph in professional competition since 2009. The 36-year-old known as “The Chosen One” is unbeaten in his last seven UFC appearances.
