Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier will write the final chapter in their trilogy when they collide in the UFC 252 headliner on Saturday in Las Vegas, the fate of the undisputed Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight title once again hanging in the balance. They split their first two meetings with one another, as Cormier knocked out Miocic at UFC 226 in 2018 before the Strong Style Fight Team cornerstone returned the favor at UFC 241 a little more than a year later.
Neither man has fought since their Aug. 17, 2019 rematch, and all signs point to a “DC” retirement after their forthcoming third encounter, no matter the outcome.
