The Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight standout suffered his third pro defeat and first in six years when he succumbed to punches from Curtis Blaydes at UFC 299 on March 9. Almeida will take one Alexander Romanov in featured UFC 302 attraction this Saturday at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Prior to his knockout loss to Blaydes, the Brazilian was a perfect 6-0 inside the Octagon with five finishes.
