No fighter on the active One Championship roster has made more appearances with the Singapore-based promotion than Eduard Folayang—a testament to his persistence, durability and expertise.
Folayang has pieced together a 12-9 record in 21 outings under the One Championship banner, capturing the organization’s lightweight crown on two different occasions. Despite his many successes, a late-career tailspin has turned him into something a forgotten man stuck somewhere between the ground floor and the penthouse. Folayang last appeared at One on TNT 4 in April, when his under-the-radar trilogy with the great Shinya Aoki concluded with his being submitted via armbar in the first round.
