Bellator MMA matchmakers have sent Aaron Jeffery on a big-game hunt.
The former Cage Fury Fighting Championships titleholder will take on Douglas Lima in a Bellator Champions Series 4 welterweight feature on Saturday at Pechanga Arena in San Diego. Jeffery has posted eight wins across his past 11 outings. The Canadian finds himself on the rebound after he dropped a three-round unanimous decision to Fabian Edwards at Bellator Champions Series 1 on March 22. Jeffery has never suffered consecutive setbacks. Lima, meanwhile, has lost four of his last five fights.
