By The Numbers: Chris Curtis vs. Roman Kopylov

Chris Curtis has grown accustomed to playing the underdog in the Ultimate Fighting Championship—a role in which he once again finds himself ahead of his latest assignment inside the Octagon.

The former CES MMA champion will lock horns with the favored Roman Kopylov in a three-round UFC Fight Night 249 middleweight showcase this Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Curtis has compiled a 5-3 record with one no contest across his nine appearances in the UFC. He last suited up at UFC Fight Night 240, where he wound up on the wrong side of a five-round split decision against Brendan Allen in their April 6 rematch.
