By The Numbers: Charles Oliveira vs. Dustin Poirier

Not long after Charles Oliveira ascended to the top of his weight class, others began formulating plans to remove him from power.

“Do Bronx” will defend the undisputed Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight title for the first time when he confronts Dustin Poirier in the UFC 269 main event on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Oliveira will climb into the Octagon with the wind of a nine-fight winning streak at his back. The longtime Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt last appeared at UFC 262, where he brought down Michael Chandler with punches and captured the vacant lightweight crown in the second round of their May 15 pairing.
