The first man to beat Mike Tyson, Buster Douglas, is open to the idea of a rematch with ‘Iron Mike’ following Tyson’s eight-round exhibition bout with Roy Jones Jr. this past weekend.
Douglas, who KO’d Tyson as a 42-1 underdog back in 1990, would welcome the opportunity to run things back with Tyson in a Legends bout, the 60-year-old boxing veteran revealed in a recent interview with USA Today Sports.
“Sure, I would welcome the opportunity. Being a prizefighter all those years and still feeling pretty good today, you always feel you got one more fight in you,” Douglas said.
