Bug virus strikes down UFC fighter, shakes up May 30 line up in Brazil

The official diagnosis is Dengue fever -- also known as "breakbone fever" -- and is a mosquito-borne tropical disease.

How that ended up coursing through the veins of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight Yan Cabral is something only the Brazilian can answer, but it was enough to bounce him from his upcoming showdown against K.J. Noons.

Sherdog.com brought word of the line-up change on Wednesday.

Stepping in to replace him on short notice is Alex Oliveira, who makes his sophomore appearance at the UFC Fight Night 67 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, scheduled for May 30, 2015 inside the Goiana Arena in Goiana, Brazil, airing live on UFC Fight Pass and FOX Sports 1.
