The former Bellator light heavyweight champion will square off with Bubba McDaniel on Oct. 20 in Uncasville, Conn. MMA Fighting confirmed an initial Tuesday report by MMA Junkie.
The veteran McDaniel (28-10) fills in for “King Mo” Lawal, who recently pulled out of the fight with an injury. McDaniel, of Wichita Falls, Tex., is a veteran of both the UFC and Bellator. He’s won two straight fights, both via finish, and five of his past six.
McGeary (12-2) has dropped two of his past three fights, most recently a submission loss to Linton Vassell at Bellator 179.
