On Monday, the Ultimate Fighting Championship' officially added a bout between Barberena and slick-boxing Brit Leon Edwards to its UFC Fight Night 115 card, scheduled for Sept. 2 at Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The event airs in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass.
Barberena, 28, has pieced together a 4-2 UFC mark and carved out a niche as an all-action fighter with a penchant for upsets: “Bam Bam's” first three UFC victories over Joe Ellenberger, Sage Northcutt and Warlley Alves all came as an underdog.
