Nate Diaz wasn’t happy when he learned that he would not be part of the card featuring the blockbuster lightweight title bout between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor.
Diaz, who has been booked to face Dustin Poirier at UFC 230 on Nov. 3 at Madison Square Garden, said he felt “underpromoted” upon learning that Nurmagomedov and McGregor would square off at UFC 229. He also sent out the following tweet: “I’m not fighting on that show [f—k] the UFC.”

Longtime UFC ring announcer Bruce Buffer dismissed the notion that Diaz was underpromoted, pointing to the Stockton, Calif.
