Ultimate Fighting Championship ring announcer Bruce Buffer has been in the Octagon to introduce some of Conor McGregor’s biggest bouts over the years, but he can’t condone the Irishman’s actions last week.
“As a whole everybody’s got their own personal reaction, but I think it’s total disgust.” Buffer told TMZ Sports of the general feeling in the MMA community. “I could say a lot of words personally, but we’ll see how it all pans out. There’s no excuse for it. It’s an insult, it’s disgusting, I mean that’s not what we’re about.
“All I can say is don’t look at the UFC, don’t look at the great fighters of mixed martial arts, any of us involved with the UFC and mixed martial arts, because this was something that occurred with one individual.
