Brent Primus vs. Michael Chandler 2 will headline Bellator’s ‘Salute the Troops’ event

Michael Chandler will look to get revenge against Bellator MMA lightweight champion Brent Primus on Dec. 14 inside the Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The two pugilists initially went to battle on Bellator NYC in June 2017, where fans saw Primus claim Chandler’s 155-pound title with a first round TKO win. During the scrap, Chandler severely injured his ankle, forcing the referee to call a stop to the contest, much to the chagrin of the former champion.

Chandler (18-4), who recently re-signed with Bellator, later scored a decision win over Goiti Yamauchi in January 2018, earning his rematch against Primus.
