Chris Weidman has been forced out of his much-anticipated rematch against current Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight champion Luke Rockhold with an undisclosed injury, according to MMA Fighting.
The title fight was set to headline UFC 199 on June 4, 2016, in Inglewood, Calif., with a trilogy fight between current Bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz taking on Urijah Faber serving as the co-main event.
The promotion is currently looking for a replacement opponent for Rockhold.
