The UFC won’t be the only international promotion to make a return to Abu Dhabi in 2019.
With days away from UFC 242 in the United Arab Emirates, Brave Combat Federation is now set to visit Abu Dhabi on Oct. 4, sources told MMA Fighting. The fight card will be headlined by an immediate rematch between Abdoul Abdouraguimov and Jarrah Al-Silawi for the welterweight title.
Brave CF’s third trip to Abu Dhabi will be held at the Mubadala Arena, the same venue the welcomed Brave 16 in Sept. 2018.
Al-Silawi (13-3) captured the welterweight gold that night in Abu Dhabi with a first-round finish over Carlston Harris, but then lost it Abdouraguimov in a controversial split decision in April.
