The UFC’s next trip to Mexico City will feature flyweights in the main event. Indiscutido’s Rodrigo Del Campo reported on Sunday that rising contenders Brandon Moreno and Sergio Pettis will top the August 5th Fight Night card at the Arena Ciudad de México. UFC made the matchup official shortly thereafter.
Mexico’s Moreno (14-3) has won his last eleven professional bouts, with three of them taking place inside the Octagon. “The Assassin Baby” scored a short-notice upset of Louis Smolka last October, then followed that up with a split decision over Ryan Benoit.
