It looks like former multi-division world champion Zab Judah will have to wait a little longer before climbing into the ring to resume his career.
Judah (42-9, 29 KOs) was slated to face Juan Carlos Salgado in the main event of a card to be televised on CBS Sports Network, but according to a Tuesday report from ESPN, Salgado withdrew from the contest when he injured his ankle in training.
“Salgado has pulled out with an ankle injury. He sent valid medical documentation,” promoter Greg Cohen told ESPN. “On such short notice it’s essentially impossible to find a suitable replacement.
