Premier Boxing Champions announced Tuesday that the Sept. 29 card will be headlined by WBA junior lightweight champion Javier Fortuna. The unbeaten Dominican will be defending his crown against Carlos Velasquez in the main event of the PBC’s Toe-To-Toe Tuesdays on Fox Sports 1, which will be held inside the Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas.
Fortuna will make the first defense of the title he won in May after toppling Bryan Vasquez over 12 rounds. Fortuna (28-0-1, 20 KOs) had been running roughshod throughout the 130-pound division and he appears headed toward greatness in the sport.
