T.J. Dillashaw’s rivalry with Cody Garbrandt might have reached its conclusion at UFC 227, but the reigning bantamweight champion has already found himself targeted by another up and coming prospect - and he’s not even an MMA fighter.
Shortly after Dillashaw’s big knockout win over Garbrandt last week, two-time super featherweight boxing champion Gervonta Davis (20-0, 19 KOs), who fought on the undercard of last year’s MayMac extravaganza, called out Dillashaw on Twitter.
After Davis clarified that he wanted to fight TJ in the Octagon, the two got into a bit of a spat on social media, with ‘Tank’ claiming that he would KO Dillashaw under MMA rules.
