Chalk another one up to the injury bug, or in this case, another one again. This is the fifth scheduled UFC bout that Green has been removed from due to injury. He hasn't been a terribly inactive fighter, having competed 5 times over 2013-2014, but he's now been on the sidelines since November having been forced out of two consecutive fights. The latest of those is a planned bout with Al Iaquinta at UFC Fight Night San Diego on July 15th. The lightweight scrap would have pitted the UFC's no. 11 and 13 ranked fighters against each other.
