Boxing promoter Bob Arum says there’s no way Tyson Fury will retire following his stunning sixth-round KO of Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium on Saturday and that a hybrid fight with Francis Ngannou is inevitable.
Fury, who extended his unbeaten record to 32-0-1, invited Ngannou, the reigning UFC heavyweight champion, into the ring following the fight.
“I’m the boxing heavyweight champion. This is the UFC heavyweight champion. Is he in good shape? Look at the muscles on him,” Fury said of Ngannou (h/t MMA Junkie). “This is going to be one very special fight, like one never before seen in the sport.
