Long-time boxing promoter Bob Arum (and I’m sure he's not alone) is tired of hearing about a potential boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight champion, Conor McGregor. That’s because the bout makes absolutely no sense in an arena, whether inside a boxing ring or mixed martial arts (MMA) cage. Furthermore, Arum says if "Notorious" does want to test his skills in a boxing ring, he wouldn’t fare too well ... not even against a novice.
"Well I think that ... Let me tell you something: Conor McGregor is not a boxer, so if they box under boxing rules with the regular gloves and so forth, a novice will beat him," Arum told TMZ Sports (via Bloody Elbow.
