Professional Fighters League put on its third event Thursday night, and two former WSOF champions were victorious in Washington, D.C.
Ex-WSOF heavyweight champion Blagoy Ivanov took on Brazilian veteran Caio Alencar in the main event, and the Bulgarian talent scored an unanimous decision win after three slow-paced rounds.
Both fighters traded leg kicks and body kicks for the majority of the contest. Ivanov landed the heaviest punches, hitting Alencar with a pair of left hands that didn’t do much damage.
Ivanov, who was poked in the eye in the second round, kept chasing Alencar as he moved backwards for most of the bout.
