The former UFC fighter stopped MMA veteran Leonard Garcia in their main event clash on Saturday night in Biloxi, Miss.
From the start, Alers rushed Garcia and overwhelmed him with wild combinations, getting a quick knockdown just seconds into the fight. The story pretty much remained the same from that point forward. Alers kept moving forward and dropping Garcia multiple times until he wasn’t able to continue. The 32-year-old fighter picked up a first-round technical knockout victory, improving his bare-knuckle boxing record to 2-0. Garcia on the other hand dropped to 1-1.
In the co-main event of card, Chase Sherman won the BKFC heavyweight title from then champion Arnold Adams.
