As UFC champion, Michael Bisping holds a bit of sway in determining his next challenger. And after Saturday night’s event in Kansas City, “The Count” was greatly impressed with Robert Whittaker, who pulled a huge upset over Ronaldo Souza via second round TKO.
Should Bisping emerge victorious against Georges St-Pierre, he is willing to grant Whittaker a shot at his title over Yoel Romero. During the latest episode of his “Believe You Me” podcast, the reigning 185-pound champion was straightforward about his reason.
“Yoel Romero is a dirty, lying, cheating scumbag,” Bisping said (via MMA Fighting).
