After losing his kickboxing debut to Glory heavyweight champion Rico Verhoeven, Antonio Silva wants to take on the decorate striker once again but in his own world.
“Bigfoot" took on Verhoeven at Saturday’s Glory 46 in China, losing via second-round technical knockout. According to Silva’s manager Alex Davis, "Bigfoot" didn’t expect to win the kickboxing bout, but suggests a rematch under a different ruleset.
Shortly after the Glory fight, Davis released a statement to MMA Fighting suggesting a second Silva-Verhoeven fight in MMA.
"So Antonio went out there and did his first kickboxing fight against the current Glory champ and legend Rico Verhoeven.
