Kickboxing champion Jaideep Singh, who won the 2009 K-1 Grand Prix in Seoul, popped into headlines recently as a rumored opponent for Fedor Emelianenko, rather dampening what excitement there was for Emelianenko's return to the ring. Since then, however, Emelianenko's former manager has suggested that Singh couldn't possibly be the true opponent for "The Last Emperor." And now, perhaps not coincidentally, Singh has appeared at last weekend's Deep 73 Impact.
