Bethe Correia might have been looking for an encounter with Ronda Rousey or Miesha Tate, but her first UFC fight since losing via first-round knockout to "Rowdy" back at UFC 190 last August will come against The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 18 veteran Raquel Pennington at UFC on FOX 19 on April 16, 2016.
"Pitbull" will look to bounce back from her devastating loss in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with the help of some new teammates at American Kickboxing Academy (AKA) before she collides with "Rocky" in Tampa, Florida.
Correia, 32, was on a tear prior to her main event opposite Rousey, having put together a streak of nine straight wins, which included one-sided victories over the latter's teammates, Shayna Baszler and Jessamyn Duke, in 2014.
