Mixed martial arts and boxing will join forces next month when Bellator and Premier Boxing Champions stage a doubleheader event on back-to-back days, Aug. 26-27, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., with the Aug. 26 Bellator card headlined by the lightweight return of former UFC champion Benson Henderson against ex-Bellator featherweight champion Patricio Freire.
On the boxing side of things, Robert Guerrero will take on David Peralta on a Aug. 27 card that also features Alfredo Angulo vs. Freddy Hernandez and Terrell Gausha vs. Steve Martinez. The Los Angeles Times first reported the story on Saturday.
