After a brief stint at welterweight, Benson Henderson will return to 155 pounds to face ex-featherweight king Patricio Freire at Bellator 160 on Aug. 26.
Promotion officials confirmed the matchup to Sherdog.com on Saturday following an initial report from the Los Angeles Times. Henderson-Freire will serve as the headliner of Bellator 160, which takes place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., and airs on Spike TV. The following day, a Premier Boxing Champions event topped by a welterweight clash between Robert Guerrero and David Peralta will take place at the same venue, according to the report.
